I agree with Ndibu. My concern with Santa Monica or any other developer picking up the game is that they will change the artistic direction of the game.
Heavenly Sword was a theatrical masterpiece that needed the combat mechanics tightened up and a bit more content added into the story. That is what I want to see in Heavenly Sword 2. Heavenly Sword 2 should be twice as long and have the combat polished, and maybe add a block button instead of the neutral guard.
